In one sentence: run your own token sale, on CoinList’s platform or inside your own product, with the compliance and settlement handled for you. Who it’s for: projects and platforms raising capital for their own token, rather than surfacing someone else’s sale.
This is the issuer side of a token sale. If you want to offer your users access to sales that CoinList already runs, see Token sales instead.

Two ways to run it

You are not picking a lane permanently. The same offering can be distributed both ways at once, and the compliance, payment, and distribution rails underneath are the same.

Raise on CoinList

CoinList runs the sale end to end. You define the offering, and CoinList provides the sale page, the participant base, and the operational lift on sale day. You are responsible for token economics and sale terms, marketing and community communications, post-sale reporting to your investors, and long-term token operations. Everything else sits on the Passage side.

Host the sale on your own platform

You build the sale experience into your own product using the SDK, and Passage runs the same compliance and settlement underneath. Your users sign in, qualify, and contribute without leaving your app. This is the right shape when you already own the user relationship and don’t want to send people elsewhere to participate in your own raise.

What Passage handles either way

  • KYC, AML screening, and identity verification
  • Jurisdiction and eligibility checks, configured per sale round
  • Payment collection and settlement
  • Smart contract deployment for the offering
  • Token distributions, vesting, and lockups
  • Investor disclosures and document signing

What you configure

Sale terms are set per offering and per round, and typically cover:
  • Schedule - when the sale opens and closes
  • Pricing and caps - price per token, total raise cap, per-round caps
  • Sale rounds - separate pricing and eligibility per round
  • Accepted currencies - which assets participants can pay with
  • Vesting and lockups - cliff, duration, and unlock schedule per round
  • Eligibility - jurisdictions, KYC level, and accreditation requirements
Work with your Passage account manager to define these and to submit the documentation for compliance review.
